Temporary new opening hours!

The ongoing Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic has had a huge impact on Avoncroft Museum as a charity and independent museum. We are delighted to be able to re-open Avoncroft Museum, initially for 3 days a week. Keeping our visitors, staff and volunteers safe is always our main priority so please be assured that we’re following all government advice relating to Covid-19 and putting a variety of measures in place.

Our grounds and Shop will be open at the following times – as we become able to open on more days, open more of our historic  buildings and open our Tea Room, we will update this information.

July & August Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday only 10.30am – 5.00pm

You will see some changes to your experience when you visit

To help keep you and our staff, volunteers and local communities safe, we’re limiting the number of people who can visit on any one day and spacing out when they arrive, so everyone, whether you’re an Avoncroft Museum member or not, must book in advance for the day and time you wish to visit. You can currently book tickets for up to 2 weeks ahead.

Please visit our Welcome back – What to expect on your visit page for more information.

We’ve missed you and we hope to see you soon!

You can also visit us virtually on our social media.
