Mosaic Birdbath Workshop: Create a Colourful Garden Feature Design

Date: Saturday 16th May

Time: 10:00 – 4:00 pm

Duration: 6 hours (including 45-minute lunch)

Course Details:  Create, and take home your own outdoor-ready mosaic birdbath. In this engaging session, you’ll transform a classic terracotta base into a stunning mosaic birdbath using a beautiful selection of colourful glass tiles.

Following a detailed pattern, you’ll learn how to use professional mosaic tools to cut and shape the tiles, gaining confidence in essential techniques such as fitting pieces precisely and placing them to create natural flow and harmony within your design. Throughout the workshop, you’ll be guided step by step in a friendly, relaxed environment-perfect whether you’re new to mosaics or looking to build on existing skills. Once your design is complete, you’ll grout your piece, making it durable and ready for outdoor display.

By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a finished birdbath that’s not only functional but also a unique, handcrafted work of art – ready to brighten your garden and attract feathered friends!
