Herbal Remedies from the Past: Sunday 13th July

Before the invention of modern medicines, herbal remedies played an essential role in healthcare. Herbalists meticulously collected, cultivated, and studied plants for their medicinal properties, building on the works of ancient scholars. Many of the plants and remedies used for ailments, including pain, fever, and wounds, continue to be used today, not only as natural treatments but also as part of modern treatments, demonstrating the enduring legacy of herbal remedies.
