We are excited to let you know that the second phase of the the reinterpretation of our 16th Century Threshing Barn is now complete with the installation of Interpretation boards thanks to the The National Lottery Heritage Fund. The funding has enabled us to install an animation and soundscape, along with four new interpretation panels that explore the evolution of threshing. These phases followed on from the Re-Thatching of the building which took place in 2022. Next time you visit Avoncroft Museum ensure you visit the space and discover all about threshing from Field to Fork.
