Using a straight knife, a hook knife, axe and mallet, you will be be guided through the process of making a beautiful, hand carved eating sized spoon, made from native hard wood. Tutor Details: With an original background in conservation, Fay Jones has been playing, making, and teaching wood and textile crafts over a decade. Fee: £55 or £50 for members. Fee includes Museum admission (£15 per person). Please note, the reduced members rate applies to members only. Please list your membership number in the notes section at the point of booking. Participant information: Suitable for beginners. Over 18s only. Please arrive a minimum of 10 minutes before the session starts, as the session will be delivered in one of our historic buildings onsite.
