Course details:  An introductory workshop into the wonderful world of spoon carving. Using a straight knife, a hook knife, axe and mallet, you will be be guided through the process of making a beautiful, hand carved eating sized spoon, made from native hard wood.

Tutor Details:  With an original background in conservation, Fay Jones has been playing, making, and teaching wood and textile crafts over a decade.

Fee: £55 or £50 for members. Fee includes Museum admission (£15 per person).

Participant information: Suitable for beginners. Over 18s only.

Please arrive a minimum of 10 minutes before the session starts, as the session will be delivered in one of our historic buildings onsite. 

Refreshments: The Museum tearoom will be open and serving a selection of hot food and drinks.

Cancellation Policy: All workshops are non-refundable, unless the Museum is required to cancel.
