Find out how people lived, worked and played across 700 years of history at Avoncroft Museum of Buildings. FREE entry to explore 19 acres, interactive displays, have a go at fun games and activities and discover more about your past!

Did you know that buildings need rescuing too?! Explore more than 30 buildings rescued and re-built at Avoncroft Museum of Buildings, from a working windmill, to medieval hall-house; from Victorian Toll-house to 1940’s Prefab and many more.

With interactive exhibits such as the National Collection of Telephone Kiosks, and the Showman’s Wagon, you can really travel in time!

With a variety of buildings spread across the 19 acres of Worcestershire countryside, come and discover how architecture is key to all of our lives, past and present.

You will be able to purchase hot food and drink as Guesten Hall will be set up a pop up food and drink outlet, yes our famous Hot Pork Rolls will be back !

A free return Heritage Bus service provided by Wythall Transport Museum will be running to and from Bromsgrove Train Station to Avoncroft Museum TBC

There is blue badge parking close to the entrance.

Accessible toilets and baby changing spaces are available.

Most buildings including the tearoom are step-free access. Due to the historic nature of the buildings, not all upstairs spaces are accessible.

The buildings are linked by wide hard standing paths and there are well positioned benches around the grounds (including wheelchair accessible). The site is mostly flat, although there is one steep hill to the ice house.

Large print maps are available on request.

There is a sensory garden and plenty of quiet space even on a busy day.
