Avoncroft opened in 1967 as England’s first open-air museum. Since our inception, we have rescued, and continue to preserve, over 30 historic buildings dating from the 14th century to the mid-20th century. As an independent charity, that is heavily reliant on visitor income to preserve our buildings, we welcome donations however large or small.
