A  free return Heritage Bus Service, will run from Bromsgrove Train Station via Avoncroft Museum this weekend:

International Living History Festival 20 & 21 April 2024

An exciting connection between Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings in Bromsgrove and Wythall Transport Museum Wythall in Redditch,  are making it easier for visitors who travel by train, access their days out, events and places of interest.

The idea of bringing together two of the areas most cherished heritage museums and providing access to visitors from railway stations further up the line, that call at Bromsgrove, has been made possible by Bromsgrove Council Cultural Compact. The venture is supported by the Worcestershire Community Rail Partnership.

By opening up and connecting the North Worcestershire Heritage Trail, a newly named collection of places of interest in the region both of the organisation’s involved hope to welcome visitors from out of area, and make it easy for them as possible.

 

If you would like to come to one of our major events at Avoncroft Museum this year What’s on here  and  live further away.

Look at your train timetable and see if they stop at Bromsgrove Train Station, if they do when you arrive at Bromsgrove Station just hop on to one of the Vintage busses for FREE  provided by the Transport Museum Wythall .

This weekend they will be stopping out side the Station throughout the day. 

After your day out all you have to do is jump on the return bus that will take you back to Bromsgrove Station again for free.

We are sure that the ride on the Heritage Buses will enhance your visit.
