Spooktacular Halloween horror and ‘No Bangs Bonfire Night’ return to Avoncroft during half-term week with lots of activities to keep younger visitors entertained.

From Tuesday 27th until Saturday 31th October 2015 there will Halloween-themed activities in the historic New Guesten Hall.  Children can make their own Halloween lantern with the help of our team of expert pumpkin carvers, listen to creepy tales from the crypt and have a go at some scary Halloween crafts.  No booking is necessary, just drop in.

Outdoors there is a Halloween prize trail around Avoncroft’s beautiful 19 acre site and the collection of 30 historic buildings to explore.  Normal Museum admission charges apply and there is a £4 additional charge for activities in the New Guesten Hall.

On Thursday, 5th November 2015, Avoncroft is holding its traditional ‘no bangs’ bonfire party.  Meet Guy Fawkes and sing along to traditional music.  There will be burgers and sausages on sale and a free cup of hot chocolate is included in the ticket price.  There are no fireworks or loud bangs at this event and it is ideal for children.  Gates open at 6.30pm and tickets cost £4 per person.
