Thank you for considering Avoncroft Museum as the venue for your wedding. The Museum offers a truly unique and romantic setting for your wedding.

New Guesten Hall, located near to the Museum entrance, boasts a 14th-century roof that was originally part of Worcester Cathedral’s reception hall for guests and contains beautifully detailed medieval carpentry. It is a large and flexible space which can accommodate up to 120 guests for civil ceremonies and the wedding breakfast and can be expanded to cater for an extra 60 loved ones for the evening reception. Surrounding New Guesten Hall is a lawned area lined with trees and historical buildings as a backdrop and is the ideal area for couples wanting to mingle and entertain their guests.

The Long Room situated in the String Of Horses building is a character filled room with timber beams and original features is the ideal space for an intimate ceremony or wedding breakfast of 20 to 40 people.

Blessings can be performed in the Mission Church, a Victorian ‘tin chapel’ rescued from Bringsty, Herefordshire, and now rebuilt in the Museum grounds, the museums beautiful grounds, New Guesten Hall and The Long Room can also be used for blessings.

Throughout your wedding day your guests can enjoy the Museum’s extensive grounds and gardens, spread over 19 acres of Worcestershire countryside, while the many historic buildings provide interesting and unusual settings for your wedding photographs.

The Bromsgrove Society of Model Engineers Railway is also available to hire, which creates an unforgettable experience.
