Our interpreters will be hosting a number of demonstrations and talks in the coming weeks:

 

Saturday 17th August

Come and join our collections team to learn all about one of the beautiful wedding dresses in our collection in our Mission Church at 2pm.

Tuesday 20th August

Our costumed interpreters will be demonstrating how bread was made using the Tollhouse’s 19th Century bread oven. Join them in the tollhouse at 2pm.

Wednesday 21st August

Come and join our collections team to learn all about one of the beautiful wedding dresses in our collection in our Mission Church at 2pm.

Thursday 22nd August

Our costumed interpreters will be demonstrating period cooking in our 19th-century Tollhouse at 11am.

Tuesday 27th August

Join our Head of Collections, Nick, and learn all about our delightful Showman’s Wagon. Meet at the Wagon at 2pm.

Wednesday 28th August

Come and join our costumed interpreters who will be demonstrating period cooking in the 19th-century Tollhouse at 2pm.

Thursday 29th August

Head to the Nailshop to learn all about blacksmithing with one of our costumed interpreters at 2pm.

Thursday 5th September

Learn all about our String of Horses building with our Head of Collections, Nick. Meet outside the Tearoom at 2pm.
