See another side of the multi-faceted performer, Mike Harding, at a very special event at Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings on 22nd June at 7.30pm.

Most famous for his stand-comedy, folk music and broadcasting, Mike is also a talented author and playwright whose works include books on fell walking in the Himalayas, fly fishing in the Yorkshire Dales, the history of the VW camper van and church architecture.

Fittingly, the performance will take place in Avoncroft Museum’s stunning Guesten Hall with its beautiful 14th century roof described by Nikolaus Pevsner as “the most elegant piece of carpentry in the county”.

At the event, which forms part of the Worcestershire Literary Festival, Mike will be reading from his published poetry while dipping into other aspects of his writing.  He will also talk to the audience about what inspires his writing and why it has become his principal focus.

This promises to be an intimate evening which will fascinate and delight audiences and Mike will be available for book signings after the performance.

The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £12 each.  Please book via the Worcester Literary Festival website:
