We are very pleased that Avoncroft once again has livestock on site. James, our Gardener, rescued 5 hens and cockerel from a farm in Aston Fields and they are now resident near the racksaw. We also have chicks which are being reared and in 18 weeks visitors will be able to see them roaming round the site. The free-range eggs that will be produced will be used in the Tea Room and be sold in the Gift Shop. So if anyone has egg boxes please donate them to the Museum.
