Step into the past at Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings, Stoke Heath, Bromsgrove during the weekend of Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th March to watch living history re-enactors from the Roman, Viking, Tudor and Victorian periods.

Avoncroft Museum will come alive with groups of re-enactors representing different periods of history from Roman to Victorian times who will be spending the weekend living in and around the historic buildings on the Museum’s 19 acre site.

Re-enactors will be dressed in period costume and will live, eat and pass the time as our ancestors would have done.  Visitors are encouraged to chat to members of the groups to find out more about their daily lives and watch them undertake their day-to-day tasks.

There will also be demonstrations of traditional baking in Avoncroft Museum’s Toll House using the original Victorian bread oven.

Opening times: 10.30am – 5pm on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th January.  The Admission prices are £8.80 for adults, £7.70 for seniors and £4.50 for children.  Avoncroft Museum members are admitted free of charge.
