at our On The Home Front event

12th & 13th October

 

With displays showing life in the midlands during the Second World War there will be much to see – ranging from Motorcycles and other Vehicle’s from the 1930s and 1940s and civilians of the time, reenactors will be bringing our site and all our buildings to life.

This weekend should be fun for everyone wanting to experience the war years.

We have also introduced a Vintage Traders Area, a Fun and Food area, a Bar, a Fashion Show and live entertainment throughout the weekend.

The miniature trains will be running for just £1 a ride on both days

You will also be able ride on a vintage heritage bus for free, provided by the Transport Museum Wythall, running from Avoncroft Museum to Bromsgrove Train Station via the Norton Museum in Bromsgrove before retuning to the Avoncroft.  So if you are intending to arrive by train look out for the bus stop !
